Hi! My name is Marco and I am a visual designer currently working between Prague and Berlin. I always aim to create work that is authentic, exciting but also very functional. I apply this approach to everything I create, be it a clean digital design in web or an app, an idea-driven visual identity or an eye-catching motion graphics. I also love to experiment with creative coding and sound design in my practice.
Currently, I am working as a Senior Digital Designer at Commerce-UI, building modern ecommerce for world-class brands. I craft unique digital experiences with focus on visual exploration and usability. I build scalable design systems, create prototypes and collaborate closely with developers.
Previously, in more than 9 years of professional experience in the creative industry, I worked with both big and small agencies, studios and freelanced. At studio GoBigname, I was working as a Senior Brand Designer. My focus was on our digital and web projects as well as visual identities, motion graphics & creative coding. I was responsible for the whole project cycle including analysis, concept ideation and design. At global agencies MullenLowe and MediaCom, I worked with clients such as Porsche, Volkswagen or Adidas. In 2021, I was one of the founding members of MullenLowe Profero – a digital division of the agency, where as an Art Director, I was leading my design team and establishing visual communication for our digital clients.
Back in 2019, I founded Monotone – a creative collective focused on experimentation, collaboration and digital tools in various creative disciplines.
In my free time, I love to produce electronic music (you can take a listen to some of my sounds on Soundcloud), or go skateboarding.
In 2023, I was a resident artist at GlogauAIR in Berlin, where I showed my sound and creative coded installation work at 2 exhibitions.
